What is Eternity's Reach? An Overview

Eternity's Reach is an individual, competitive event that occurs every two weeks. Roughly 100 players are matched on a battlefield for 30 minutes, with the goal of accumulating as much copper ore as possible. This event is a good source of Governor Charm materials, so it's highly recommended you participate.

Some considerations:

  • Troops are unlimited. All marches are automatically filled with the highest troop tier you can normally build.
  • When you lose a fight, your heroes are injured and go into a 5-min cooldown before redeployment.
  • Your loot wagon doesn't use any of your march slots, but you can only have one active at a time

What you will see:

***Cesares. Level 1 or 2.

***Resource Veins.

***Scattered Copper Ore

***Fractured Veins.

***Peak of Eternity (Center).

How to play: Tips, tricks and strats

The following method is fast-paced and requires your full focus to complete. It depends more on burst scoring rather than idle mining.

If you are unable to give your full attention to the event or simply wish for a more chill gameplay, you can just concentrate on hunting Cesares, completing the skill tree, and then mining the normal veins and fractured veins. Remember, you only need 150k copper ore to get full rewards.

Prepare for battle

A few minutes before the start time, make sure to recall troops

Once you spawn within the battlefield, you will have 2 minutes and 30 seconds to prepare.

  • Zoom out and scan the map
  • If your spot is too crowded, or you've spawned too close to a whale, teleport to a better spot
  • Make sure you go to a spot with a good amount of mines and Cesares

Early Game: Skill Tree

In the early game, you should be focused on killing Cesares, gathering XP in order to complete your skill tree as quickly as possible.

The level 1 Cesares give you 75 XP, while the level 2 Cesares give you 150 XP. Because of this, you should be prioritizing killing level 2 Cesares at this stage. You can make use of the search button to find Cesares around you.

The XP you gather goes to completing the skill tree. The skills you should strive for are the following:

If you go this route, you will be receiving;

  1. +1,500 ore per Cesares guard killed. This means you should continue killing them even after you have completed the skill tree. Also, consider that both level 1 and 2 Cesares give you the same amount of ore, so once you have finished getting all skills, you no longer need to prioritize level 2 Cesares.
  2. +25% march speed
  3. 5,000 copper ore immediately upon hitting a resource vein. This skill has a 1-minute cooldown.
  4. Increased mining efficiency (good for Fractured Veins).
  5. Increased gathering speed

Mid Game: Vein Cycling

For this strategy, we take advantage of the skill that gives us 5k ore when occupying a vein. This means that once you get the 3rd skill on the skill tree, you should be sending a march to a nearby vein every minute. Once you hit the vein, recall immediately. Repeat this every 60 seconds. All the while, you should be killing Cesares and gathering scattered loot.

You can hit the same mine repeatedly and still get the 5k ore. Just make sure you're hitting after 60 seconds. However, when you first start hitting veins, you should go to mines that haven't been hit yet in order to get the mine to spill scattered ore, which you can then loot.

Keep up this cycle until the Fractured Veins spawn. Once they do, focus on sending marches to the Fractured Veins. It's important to keep in mind that the +5k ore skill does not activate when attacking Fractured Veins, so make sure to let your troops gather them completely. Also, considering Fractured Veins give you 4k ore over time, you should still be sending out 1 march to a normal vein, at least at the beginning of each wave, so you also get the additional 5k copper ore.

End Game: Peak of Eternity

Center opens when there are 7 minutes left on the counter. Usually only the strongest can hold center for long; however, if you so wish, you can teleport to center seconds before it opens and, with the help of speed-ups, attempt to be the 1st to hit it. You most likely won't be able to hold it for longer than a second, but that is enough to earn a big enough bonus to help you climb the leaderboard. After that, go back to vein cycling and/or activate your skill 5 and send marches to mines.
